Brandon Spikes' 2011 AFC Championship Ring Appears On eBay
FOXBORO (CBS) -- One week after he was released by the team, former New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes' 2011 AFC Championship ring has popped up on eBay.
Spikes was let go by the Patriots after he was cited in connection with a hit and run crash.
His name appears on the ring, along with an appraisal that says the ring is worth $18,000. It's made of white gold and features the Patriots logo surrounded by 32 diamonds.

The seller labels the "used" item as an "Authentic New England Patriots Championship Players Ring."
As of Tuesday morning, the ring price was listed as $19,499.00 for a sale that ends Friday.
State police have cited Spikes in the incident on Route 495 in Foxboro that hurt three people in an SUV. Investigators say Spikes had left the scene of the crash after reporting he'd hit a deer, but the people in the SUV say they were rear-ended by a Mercedes that left the scene.
UPDATE: The Boston Herald's Jeff Howe reported Tuesday afternoon that Spikes' agent, Gary Uberstine, said that the ring was stolen before it was put up for auction on eBay.
