Brad Marchand Out, David Krejci Questionable Vs. Blues
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Boston Bruins are going to be shorthanded when they take on the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night. The extent to which they'll be shorthanded is not yet known.
Head coach Claude Julien said after the morning skate that Brad Marchand will not be in the lineup when the B's host the Blues at the TD Garden. Marchand missed the latter half of the third period of Saturday's game, after which Julien said that Marchand was "not injured, per se."
Marchand tried to give it a go on Tuesday, but he left the morning skate early.
While the B's will be without Marchand, they may be getting David Krejci back. But then again, they might not, as Julien said that a decision has not yet been made on the top-line center.
Krejci, who's been out with a lower-body injury, returned to practice on Monday and participated fully in Tuesday's morning skate.
Krejci hasn't played since Nov. 6. He has three goals and seven assists in his 10 games played this season, while Marchand has five goals and six assists in his 19 games.
Julien also noted that defenseman Kevan Miller, who's been out since Oct. 18 with a dislocated shoulder, will be a game-time decision.
