In 2008, the Green Ribbon Open Space Committee completed renovations that held a special place in the hearts of Cambridge-community tennis lovers. When the committee revamped Green Rose Heritage Park, it upped the ante on its tennis courts and spruced up the community garden, open fields and children's playground. The tennis courts are open to all, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Cool off in the sprinkler area after a tough match, pack a picnic lunch to eat on the grassy field, or check out the fun community art on display in the park 24/7.
