It's a simple yet satisfying creamy dish to enjoy at either location, including the North End spot on Prince Street, tucked away from Hanover.

Speaking of Hanover Street, Carmelina's, which was formely Ristorate Damiano, is worth a visit. Check out a couple of spaghetti dishes you won't want to miss at this intimate restaurant. The spaghetti al nero di seppia includes meaty and tender cuttlefish in its own ink sauce with garlic and tomato for $14 or $20 per portion, depending on the size that interests you. It also offers a signature spaghetti dish, the Carmelina. Chefs take rock shrimp, scallops, chicken and sausage and serve the spaghetti in a sauce featuring tomato, rosemary and cream for $22 for a flavorful and filling feast.

Known for its innovative and unique menu as well as its successful chef and owners Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette, Coppa is a popular restaurant located right in the South End. The menu offers options for small plates including meatballs, olives, meats and cheeses or for the adventurous, beef heart crostini to nosh on with cocktails. Coppa also serves entrée-sized meals such as warm, cheesy pizzas and perfect pasta dishes. Expect spaghetti carbonara, but it puts a small twist on its recipe to make it stand out from others. The version of spaghetti alla carbonara at Coppa includes house-made pasta with smoked pancetta, sea urchin, a farm egg and peas for either $15 or $21, making it unlike any other Carbonara in town.
