City Bar

City Bar is a Back Bay institution which often makes city "best of" lists for a number of reasons, not the least of which is its stellar martini and drink menus. Granted, this Exeter Street bar may not be the most competitive when it comes to pricing, but as they say, "you get what you pay for," and in this case, it's one really good drink. Check the ginger peach martini, which comes highly recommended by most of the City Bar faithful, all of whom keep packing it in at this place.

Drink is another joint that comes up again and again for its impeccable selection of spirits; a martini lover's dream bar where expert mixologists concoct some of Boston's best and most unique drinks. It is cocktails and martinis a-go-go at Drink, and this Seaport staple doesn't stop there. Drink also kicks out some of the most ridiculously delicious food jams to go along with its martini menu, not the least of which is its legendary grilled cheese sandwich...elevated comfort food galore. This balance of food and drink makes this one a no brainer.

Bar 10
10 Huntington Ave.
Boston, MA 02116
(617) 424-7446
www.bar10boston.com
Bar 10, located between Blagden and Dartmouth streets, is a cool little nook hotel bar located in the Weston on Copley Mall. Bar 10 is hip and a bit swanky with a creative martini menu to match, while the bartenders on hand are known to be quite generous with their pours. This is good, because Bar 10 also happens to come along with a pretty hefty price tag to go with its upscale, yet relaxed and chill atmosphere. That being said, the experience on the whole makes it worth the wait and price, particularly if date night martinis happen to be on the menu.
Last Hurrah

Boston, MA 02108

It's downtown Boston which holds the Last Hurrah, located within the Omni Parker House, right near the city's historic Freedom Trail. Last Hurrah is old fashioned class at its finest; a Bostonian tradition when it comes to the classic martini experience, without any sort of fancy experimentation or unsuccessful mutations. This is where James Bond would likely indulge in his shaken martini obsession before embarking upon some epic, whirlwind spy mission; a place where Boston visitors and locals alike can relax, imbibe and enjoy the way martinis should be made right in downtown Boston.
