Boston's Best Bars For A Break-Up

The holidays are winding down and a lot of the love that was in the air has apparently been frozen out by January's bitter chill. To make matters worse, according to one website we found and didn't bother to fact-check when we googled "January Break-Up Month," January is National Break-Up Month. (Others said otherwise, but that doesn't fit into our narrative now, does it?)

If not, you can make a quick getaway (assuming your flight isn't delayed). Might we suggest a trip to the city dubbed number one in the country for finding a date last year? Delta Airlines flies out of Terminal A, where Lucky's is located, and offers a whole mess of non-stop flights to Atlanta.

An Tain is a dive - dark, drafty, and dumpy. It sets the mood perfectly. Also, two words: dollar drafts. Whether it's financially or emotionally, you've probably invested a lot into this relationship. And quite frankly, you don't feel like dropping another dime on it. But, since it's customary to foot the bill if you're doing the dumping, you might as well keep it cheap.

For the types who get over a break up really quickly, Game On is good place for that. We aren't going to comment on their slogan "Eat, Drink, Score," but Game On certainly boasts a decent food and beer menu and plenty of TVs to take your mind off things. When there's a Boston sports team playing, this bar is typically buzzing with a diverse group of Bostonians - plenty of whom we assume are single.
