Woman Wanted For Boston Bank Robberies

BOSTON (CBS) – Police are searching for a woman they believe is responsible for multiple bank robberies in Boston.

The woman, who was caught on surveillance video during the robberies, robbed a Dorchester bank on Wednesday and another in downtown Boston on Thursday.

Boston Police say a woman with a similar description robbed another bank on Friday morning. Detectives are not yet saying the suspect in that robbery is the same as the previous two.

During the first two robberies, the woman passed a note to the teller before making off with an unknown amount of cash.

Police describe the suspect as a white or Hispanic woman with a thin build. She is believed to be in her 30s and was wearing a pink baseball cap and a black sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to call the Bank Robbery Task Force at (617) 223-6185.
