Boston Visual Effects Company Taking It To Next Level

BOSTON (CBS) --- A Boston visual effects company that's been working on some Hollywood films like "American Hustle" says it's ready to go to the next level.

Zero VFX had humble beginnings just a few years ago, according to co-founder Brian Drewes.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030's New England Business Editor Anthony Silva reports

Silva asked Drewes if his company is ready to produce its own full-length feature film.

"Absolutely, 100-percent," he said.

Zero VFX, which is raising capital for a production company, now has 45 employees and hopes to double that number over the next few years.

Drewes says his company specializes in developing digital visual effects that the audience believes are real.

Zero VFX worked on more than 400 television commercials over the past three months.
