Boston University Warns Students Studying In London
BOSTON (CBS) - Boston University administrators have sent messages to B.U. students in London assuring them it's safe to attend classes during the day, but urging them to carry cell phones at all times and to stay in dorms at night.
This, after four nights of rioting, burning, and looting has spread through different sections of the city. It began after a police shooting Saturday prompted protests that have spiraled into a general state of lawless chaos.

"I was kind of happy to be leaving," said Chloe Brighton, as she stepped off an airplane arriving at Logan Airport from London. She's a New Hampshire native who moved to England two years ago. "I think the police reaction here would have been very different. They would have been a lot more forceful."
Others arriving in Boston from London agreed. "They'd get shot if they did it here," said Justin Romanow, who noticed a difference now that London police have tripled their numbers on the streets. "It was a bit crazy. The train stations full of police, sirens everywhere. It's creepy."
So far, 111 police officers and 14 members of the public have been injured in the riots.
