BOSTON (CBS) - Getting home Monday night was a nightmare for some passengers on the Commuter Rail. It took them four hours.

Their train, which left Boston at 5 p.m., broke down in Newtonville. Another train helped push it all the way to Worcester.

When passengers finally arrived at their destination at 9 p.m., they were furious.

"It's irresponsible. The general manager should be terminated and some other administrators need to be called to task on it," said Lawrence Roberge, a passenger.

"They need help. They need help really bad. They need to replace these engines. The equipment is just so faulty," said Lisa Thomas, a passenger.

A spokesperson with the MBCR, which runs the Commuter Rail, only said this was very unfortunate.
