'Boston Strong' Artists Inspired By Survivors, First Responders
BOSTON (CBS) - The city's hottest stars were preparing to take the stage at the TD Garden Thursday to raise money for The One Fund. The artists are excited to do something for the bombing survivors and first responders who have inspired them so much.
"I'm think I'm healing. I'm almost complete," said Mery Daniel.
Daniel is just days from receiving her new prosthetic leg. She's recovered so much from her bombing injuries that she gets to have a little fun at the concert.

At the Boston Strong concert, she's excited to see Aerosmith.
The stage is being set for 300 bombing survivors and first responders in the front row to see the amazing show. James Taylor, The New Kids on the Block and the Dropkick Murphys are planning a special rendition of "Shipping up to Boston."
"We're doing a little bit of an unexpected collaboration tonight," said Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys. "It's just a different vibe. It's like everyone in it together."
Many in this star-studded lineup are Boston born and raised. For them, seeing the bombing survivors will be an emotional experience.
"Whatever we can do to uplift their spirits and to be there for them and their families that's what we're going to do," says Donnie Wahlberg of the New Kids On the Block.
"I had an incredible moment where I walked around the corner and Jeff Bauman is sitting in his wheelchair listening to James Taylor and it really hit me you know," said Pat Badger of Extreme. "It was just such an emotional experience."
For Mery, it's a welcome return to some entertainment and proof that good conquers evil.
"They're doing something really good for us and we really appreciate it," said Mery. "We get to see the best of humanity and that's something good."
