Boston Mega E-Retailer CSN Stores Raises $165 million
BOSTON (CBS) - One of the fastest growing e-retailers in Boston has announced its first round of venture capital, after almost a decade in business.
CSN Stores has been bankrolling its growth for years through current revenues. CSN now says it has raised $165 million in venture capital from four local VC firms with an eye toward an initial public offering of stock at some point in the future.
CSN Stores Chairman Steve Conine said the company also plans to consolidate its websites and rename itself "Wayfair."
