Boston Marathon Bombing Survivor Takes First Steps Since Attack
BOSTON (CBS) – A survivor of the Boston Marathon bombings has made a major milestone.
Celeste Corcoran, who lost both legs in the attacks, took her first steps using prosthetics.
Celeste and her daughter Sydney were both injured when the bombs went off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on April 15.
Celeste walked across the hallway and back again right after she was fitted with her prosthetics on Monday. Video of their recovery has been posted to their Facebook page.
