Boston Issues Snow Emergency, Parking Ban Ahead Of Blizzard
BOSTON (CBS) – Boston Mayor Marty Walsh announced on Saturday that a parking ban will go into place as another winter storm hits the city.

A snow emergency and parking ban will go into effect on Saturday at 10 p.m., Walsh said.
Ticketing and towing will not begin, however, until midnight.

Also in advance of the storm, officials announced on Friday that there will be no late night MBTA service Saturday night.
All MBTA services will be shut down completely on Sunday as well.
The MBTA warned that due to the storm, parking will be prohibited in all open MBTA station parking lots from 7 p.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday. Vehicles left in MBTA lots may be towed.
