BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston College Eagles are heading to a Bowl game for the first time in three years.
The 7-5 Eagles will play in the 2013 AdvoCare V100 Bowl, and will face 7-5 Arizona of the Pac-12. The game will be played at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31 at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, LA. The game will mark the first ever meeting between the two schools.

The AdvoCare V100 Bowl will mark Boston College's first bowl appearance under the direction of first-year head coach Steve Addazio, who took over a team that finished 2-10 last season.
"We are thrilled to play in the Advocare V100 Bowl, be able to compete for our eighth win and to have a chance to compete against a great opponent like Arizona," said Addazio. "We're thrilled; we're excited; The players are excited and they are all fired up. It's an exciting time at Boston College. This is a game that highlights our season and it's a reward for becoming bowl eligible and competing at a higher level."
"This gives us an opportunity to showcase our extraordinary university with a bowl with a wonderful history," Boston College Director of Athletic Brad Bates said. "We have a terrific opponent from the Pac-12. We're going to provide a high-quality experience for the players on our team, especially the senior class. It's an entertaining way for the Eagle Nation to celebrate what has been accomplished in 2013 and welcome in the New Year."
