Kyrie Irving Likely Out With Facial Fracture; Al Horford Set To Return
BOSTON (CBS) – The Celtics received a mixed bag of injury news on Saturday.
The good news is that Al Horford will likely return on Sunday against Toronto after missing two games with a concussion.
Horford is officially listed as probable for the game.
But the bad news is that Kyrie Irving is doubtful for the game after taking an accidental elbow to the face on Friday night.
The team said Irving suffered a "minor facial fracture."
No timetable was given for Irving's return.
Shams Charania of The Vertical reported that after Irving misses Sunday's game, he is expected to play with a mask for two weeks.
