Boston-Baltimore JetBlue Flight Makes Emergency Landing In Philly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS/AP) - A JetBlue flight from Boston to Baltimore was forced to make an emergency landing Sunday night.
Flight 827 landed in Philadelphia around 6 p.m. after the pilot reported a smoke condition inside the plane.
Passengers were evacuated on the runway.
No injuries were reported.
A JetBlue statement says the captain elected to divert out of "an abundance of caution" after the crew reported the odor of smoke while en route to Baltimore Washington International Airport.
Philadelphia airport officials did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.
JetBlue says the passengers are being put on a later flight.
