While Made by Me is not strictly for children, even the exterior looks like it is a place that children will enjoy. Plan your child's next birthday party here. The process is as simple as picking a piece to paint and painting it. The staff is populated by artists who are there to help. There are also books and stencils to help guide beginners. When the work is finished, kids can leave their pieces with Made by Me and come to pick them up post-kiln in about six days.

The Clayroom works in much the same way as Made by Me in Cambridge. Hopeful painters come in to the shop, pick the piece they want to paint and then get to work. Staff members are there to explain how to use the materials and give additional tips throughout the process. Party reservations are possible, as is booking private space for a child's birthday party. All finished pieces are available for pick up within five days of painting. Big Sisters and Little Sisters who are part of the Big Sister organization get 50-percent off studio fees.

Clay Dreams is a walk-in pottery painting studio that is also available for group reservations. Kids can choose little trinkets to gift mom or dad. They can create useful pieces for the home, such as bowls and mugs. They can also make something more whimsical for themselves. The staff can walk each child through their responsibilities as the painter before setting the finished piece aside for firing. It takes about a week before children can come back and pick up their dishwasher-safe masterpieces.
