Bolton Firefighter Charged With Robbing Lancaster Gas Station At Gunpoint
LANCASTER (CBS) – A Bolton firefighter has been arrested and charged with robbing a Lancaster gas station at gunpoint.
Police said Michael Sowa, a Bolton firefighter and Clinton resident, was arrested and charged with masked armed robbery, larceny, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
The charges stem from an April 5 robbery that took place at the Sunoco Gas Station in Lancaster.
Security footage from inside the Sunoco station shows a masked man come into the store and point a gun at the clerk, ordering him behind the counter.
The suspect takes a handful of cash and leaves the store.
Lancaster police said Sowa is also charged with armed robbery in Marlboro. Police added that Sowa is being held on high bail.
