From Smiles To Black Eyes: The Scene On Black Friday
BOSTON (CBS) - Tablets, TVs, computers, and cell phones were just some of the items people were scooping up on Black Friday.
The turkey was barely digested by the time many shoppers started elbowing their way into the pit consumer mayhem, ready to bust down doors to get their hands on door buster deals.
Crowds of consumers were content to wait in line starting well before midnight.

Many say the waiting and anticipation contribute to the fun. One seemingly sarcastic shopper told WBZ-TV that he waited in line for 45 minutes to buy a bag of candy because he heard it was 10 cents off (see: above video).

Not everyone was smiling though. A Square One Mall employee tells WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens there was a brawl around 1 a.m. when a couple of people tried to cut the line at Best Buy.
"People started getting into fist fights with each other," she said. "I think it was like four or five people fighting all at once."
