Bitter Cold Day...and Snow On The Way

A frigid start to your morning has prompted the issuance of  Wind Chill Warnings and Advisories across our entire viewing area.    With temperatures only topping off in the upper single digits to the lower teens, wind chill values will hover between -10 and -30 below zero.  On a brighter note, the sun will be out in full force.

Watch Melissa's Forecast

*A quick 'Clipper' will bring us a few snow showers late tonight thru midday Tuesday. A quick coating to an inch is psosible in some bacyards.

*Mid-week Storm Latest:  The GFSx and the EURO models show the storm affecting us PM Wednesday thru midday Thursday.  The uncertainty lies in the exact track of the storm. The EURO shows a more westerly track which would provide more of a wintry mix, while the GFSx shows a scenario where there'd be mixing for southeastern Mass. and snow (potentially heavy) for suburbs north and west of Boston.  Each model run will offer us the ability to narrow down the track, precipitation type. and the amount of snow we are expecting.

Be Safe...Stay Warm!
