Billick: Important To Maintain Preparation Schedule During Super Bowl Week
BOSTON (CBS) - Former Baltimore Ravens head coach and current NFL Network analyst Brian Billick joined Toucher & Rich Wednesday morning to talk Super Bowl preparation as part of 98.5 The Sports Hub's continuing coverage of the game on Radio Row in Arizona.

The former Ravens head man, who won a Super Bowl with them in the beginning of the decade, says that the week before the Super Bowl is all about keeping team preparation the same -- something both of these teams have experience doing.
"I can't think of two teams that are better equipped to understand the unique routine you have down here," said Billick.
This is Seattle's second straight trip to the Super Bowl, and this is New England's second Super Bowl appearance in the last four years, and the sixth for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Billick spoke about how he wasn't super restrictive to his team during his Super Bowl experience, rather he kept things habitual and let his players make good decisions.
"I didn't want to get to the Super Bowl, having done all those things you have to do as a team to get there, and all of a sudden say, 'Okay now we're going to change what we do.' I had no bed check, including the night before the game," said Billick.
Dealing with the swarm of media is also an obligation to the players and a potential distraction for teams during the week before the big game. Both the Patriots and Seahawks met with media members yesterday and are slated to do the same later today.
Billick made note of Brady's ability to satisfy the media without making headlines.
"Is there anybody better than Tom Brady that is loved by the media, with a smile, gives them anything they want, and tells them absolutely nothing?" asked Billick.
