Billboard Along I-93 Highlights Molly Bish Case

MEDFORD (CBS) - Drivers along I-93 in Medford can now see a digital billboard about Molly Bish.

The Bish family is hoping someone will come forward with information about the unsolved murder.

The teenage lifeguard disappeared in June 2000 from the town of Warren and her remains were found three years later.

Thomas Shamshak, an ex-police chief from Spencer and now a private detective, told WBZ News Radio he believes that Rodney Stanger, a Southbridge native, may have killed Bish.

WBZ News Radio 1030's Ben Parker reports.

"What was striking was the remarkable resemblance to the composites that were generated after Maggie Bish was interviewed by law enforcement," said Shamshak.

Stanger, who is currently serving a 25-year prison sentence in Florida, has not been charged in the Bish case.
