Bill Belichick Arrives At Combine Sporting Eponymous Hoodie
BOSTON (CBS) -- Bill Belichick: four-time Super Bowl champion, future Hall of Famer, legendary coach ... fashion maven.
That's right. The Patriots' head coach arrived at the NFL Scouting Combine on Friday walking alongside divisional foe Rex Ryan. The NFL Network's Rich Eisen captured the image and posted it to Twitter, taking special note of Rex's throwback Thurman Thomas jersey.
However, Eisen missed the obvious fashion statement that was being made just to Rex's right.
That would be Belichick wearing a hoodie that bears his own name along with a headset. And it is glorious. It is Hoodception.
It immediately sparked some interest on Twitter, and lo and behold, it is the logo of The Bill Belichick Foundation. And what's more, if you want one, you can go right ahead and buy one on the foundation's website.
According to the site, The Bill Belichick Foundation "aims to provide coaching, mentorship, and financial support to individuals, communities, and organizations. Focusing on football and lacrosse, its mission is to bring the values of the Belichick family – a love of sports, coaching and team building – to the athletic leaders of tomorrow."
Bill Belichick: Philanthropist, football genius, part-time scientist, Olympic-caliber distance runner, fashionista. The man can do it all.
