Big Game Party Recipe: Turkey Chili
BOSTON (CBS) – The Super Bowl is a certainly a big sporting event, but it's also an excuse to throw a big party.
If you're interested in changing up your menu this year and going beyond nachos and chicken wings, Paula Ebben got a great idea from the folks at Wilson Farm's Kitchen.

Turkey Chili
2 lbs. ground turkey
2 - 15 oz. cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
2 - 26 oz. boxes chopped tomatoes
2 medium red onions, chopped
2 green peppers, diced
2 yellow peppers, diced
2 Tbs. garlic, minced
1 Tbs. chili powder
¾ tsp. ground cumin
½ tsp. ground coriander
½ tsp. dried oregano
1 Tbs. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
3 Tbs. olive oil
scallions, chopped
Directions:
In a large shallow pot (a Dutch oven) heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onions and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add dry spices, salt, and pepper and cook for 1 minute. Add turkey and cook until golden brown, about 8 to 10 minutes. Add tomatoes and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes. Add beans and simmer for 10 minutes. Add peppers and cook another 8 minutes. Adjust seasoning. Sprinkle with scallions.
