Best Weekend Of The Summer!

This will be the best weekend of the Summer. There I said it...unlike last weekend which was a bit disappointing at times because of the cloud cover  periodic shower or storm...this weekend is going to deliver and in a big way! Conditions simply can not be more ideal for the summer enthusiast. After a muggy start, dewpoints have been dropping in the 50's and Lwr 60's along a breezy and refreshing NW wind which has been gusting to 25 mph today. An epic day for sailing on the water.  A rising barometer behind a cold front has allowed crystal clear skies across the region with barely a cloud  in sight. Highs will be climbing into the upper 80's to near 90. South of Boston we could see temps climb into the lwr 90's in places like Sharon, Foxboro, Attleboro, Somerset, & Fall River away from the coast.

Clear skies tonight with diminishing wind as high pressure sits just to our SW. Lows will drop into the 60's. A great night to open up the windows and let all this refreshing air come rushing in to cool the house. A perfect night for sleeping. Shall we call it a Mid-Summer Night's Dream? Absolutely! Brilliant Sunshine in place through Sunday with lighter winds. Winds will turn onshore for a cooling seabreeze. Highs inland will be a bit cooler than Saturday in the mid 80's, but at the coast...70's and Lwer 80's.

As high pressure pulls off the coast Monday, winds will turn more southwesterly which will start bring back the higher humidity dewpoints into the 60's. Highs will climb back to near 90 with partly sunny skies. Clouds will be on the increase during the afternoon ahead of a cold front which may trigger a few scattered showers or a thunderstorm.  With drier more comfortable air for Tuesday in the lwr-80's

An all around quiet weeke of weather with temps  averaging lightly above normal in the 80's.  Periodic weak fronts will keep the excessive humidity and heat south of New England. Looking ahead into August, after next weekend, a trough will become established across the northeast through the 11th...so I do not anticipate any heat waves like the one we recently had in the near future. Easy breezy summer weather!
