This quaint town is located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in western Massachusetts, about a two hour drive from the city of Boston. The area is filled with boutique style shops and plenty of eateries that are easily accessible by foot. When flowers start blooming in the spring, there is one particular area that is quite beautiful and that is well-known as the Bridge of Flowers. The bridge opens to the public on April 1 and different blooms appear throughout the season. It really is quite beautiful for anyone who loves nature.
Plum Island In Newburyport, Massachusetts
This 11-mile long barrier island area on the coasts of Newburyport and Newbury offer pretty incredible views. While it may not be ideal beach weather in April or May, the area is great for walking and exploring. For those looking for something different to check out, there is a 4,662-acre wildlife sanctuary located on Plum Island. There are also various fishing excursions available for those who would like to get out on the water and enjoy some time at sea.
Cape Cod, Massachusetts
While some people think that Cape Cod is only a great summer destination, it is actually lovely throughout the year.
