Best Singles Bars South Of Boston
O'Donnell's
1048 N. Main St.
Randolph, MA 02368
(781) 963-9812

O'Donnell's is a quintessential townie bar; a place where Randolph locals frequently haunt in their search for libations and a good time. Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that the O'Donnell's regulars wouldn't take kindly to strangers, although this divey joint does tend to be a bit insular when it comes to the usual crowd. That being said, this joint is big with the after-work crowd and serves as an interesting melting pot of people on a Friday night. Of course, the affordable pitchers of beer here make meeting people at O'Donnell's a lot easier.

Mick Morgan's is another Irish bar – tucked away on Providence Highway in Sharon – which provides friendly service, cold beer, yummy vittles and an interesting mixer of people any night of the week. This place is a bit brighter and friendlier when compared to O'Donnell's; a nice balance of restaurant comfort and bar atmosphere with a busy patio scene over the warm summer months. This outdoor dining and drinking situation in particular makes Mick Morgan's a hidden spot for singles to hit up. It is a nice alternative to the chain restaurant and trendy downtown bar scenes.
The Last Shot Bar and Grille

Stoughton, MA 02072

The Last Shot Bar and Grille, located a bit further south of Boston in Stoughton, is a great example of a townie American bar done right: a no-frills and unapologetic joint which is completely devoid of pretension. Bar food, bar trivia and bar karaoke are all down home, bar life staples here at The Last Shot, and are comforting in its traditional approach to simply having a good time and meeting new people on a Friday or Saturday night. It's this embracing of "typical" bar life which makes The Last Shot a worthy place for singles to hit up down Route 24 south.
Prezo
229 1/2 E. Main St.
Milford, MA 01757
(508) 634-0101
www.prezogrille.com
Valet parking and a diverse menu means a classier joint here in Prezo, at least when compared to some of the other haunts visited thus far. But don't let the sushi bar and steakhouse vibe scare you, for Prezo is a recommended destination for singles and couples alike. Indeed, this Milford bar and grille provides a welcoming atmosphere for all guests, regardless of whether a family dinner or a drink/scope of the scene is in order for the night. Prezo is usually bustling with people on the weekends, as well, offering further weight to Prezo's status as a recommended singles stop outside of Boston.
