Offering nearly four miles of slow-moving current, the Deerfield River is a great spot to drop your tube and begin your ride. Deerfield River Portage provides both tubes and transportation to the "put in" point. The cost of your ride also includes an extra tube to hold your cooler. If you are willing to take your tubing adventure a little south, head to Farmington River Tubing to take a ride down the popular Farmington River. Facilities onsite include restrooms and changing rooms. Ticket cost includes tube rental, life jacket and shuttle bus service. If you decide to take another trip down the river on the same day, you can do so for another $10. Riders can also save money by visiting on a weekday where the cost is reduced.
