Tito Jackson announced during the diner's annual customer appreciation day that the day was "South Street Diner Day!" Neighbors will agree, South Street Diner — formerly the Blue Diner featured on PBS and House Guest with Steve Martin — has been a staple of Boston for close to 70 years.
