Bergeron Day-To-Day After X-Rays Come Back Negative

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Bruins have suffered more than their fair share of injuries to key players this season, and the long-term loss of one more could spell disaster. Fortunately for them, though, it does not appear that will be the case for Patrice Bergeron.

The B's center, who left Sunday's game in pain after blocking a shot, said Monday that X-rays came back negative, according to NESN's Naoko Funayama.

Bergeron said that he's day-to-day and is hopeful to play Tuesday night in Tampa.

Bergeron is just one of just four players on the Bruins roster to play in all 68 games thus far, along with Chris Kelly, Joe Corvo and Dennis Seidenberg.
