Bergeron, Chara Headline Bruins Getting Night Off In Ottawa
BOSTON (CBS) - With the playoffs just two games away, and the second-seed all locked up, the Boston Bruins will give some of their star players Thursday night off.
Tim Thomas, Patrice Bergeron, Zdeno Chara and Johnny Boychuk all stayed in Boston as the rest of the team went to Ottawa on Wednesday.
Thomas, Bergeron and Chara are getting the night off for rest, while Boychuk's status is still unknown after leaving Tuesday night's game against the Penguins with a leg injury.
