Belichick Visits Red Sox In Fort Myers
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Red Sox got a visit from New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick prior to their 9-2 loss to the Blue Jays in Fort Myers on Tuesday night.
Belichick was in town for South Florida's Pro Day, and sent manager Bobby Valentine a text saying he would like to attend the game. Although traffic prevented him from arriving early, Belichick did get there in time to address the Sox briefly.

"In a Bill Belichick vein,'' Valentine said of the meeting. "I think he used a little reference to when things don't go right, you can turn the page. New years are new years, make the best of them that you can make."
Although he had advice for the team, he did not have any for Valentine when it comes to the back-end of the starting rotation. Not yet at least.

"We're going to talk about that tomorrow," Valentine joked.'
Sitting behind the screen, Belichick stayed for six innings.
