Belichick Offers Very Little On Brady's Calf Injury

BOSTON (CBS) -- Patriots head coach Bill Belichick had little to say about quarterback Tom Brady's calf injury on Friday morning.

"We've listed it on the report like we're required to do," the head coach said when asked about the injury that kept his QB out of practice on Thursday.

Brady said in a radio interview Thursday night that he'll be ready to go for Sunday's season opener against the Dolphins in Miami. When asked if he had any doubts that Brady could start, Belichick again pointed to the injury report.

"We'll list it the way it is today and see what happens today," he said.

The Pats head coach ran that same route when asked how the injury occurred.

"We've done everything we're required to do. We've listed the injury, we'll continue to list it and we'll list his status based on the requirements of the league -- just like we do with every other player," said Belichick.

The Patriots will head to Miami a day earlier than usual, making the trip after Friday's practice. Their final injury report is due out at some point Friday afternoon.
