Belichick: Hernandez 'Could Be A Game-Time Decision'
FOXBORO (CBS) -- When reporters entered the Patriots' locker room on Friday morning, they noticed a travel bag was packed for tight end Aaron Hernandez, an indication that he'd be traveling with the team to Seattle.
Would the head coach be willing to divulge the details?
Not exactly.
Belichick said Friday in his meeting with reporters that the team would check on Hernandez's progress after he practiced twice this week.
"We'll have the day to evaluate it on Saturday and we'll see where we're at on Sunday," Belichick said. "It could be a game-time decision."
Shortly after Belichick left the podium, Patriots practice began, and Hernandez was not present during the early portion which was open to the media. He did not practice and was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.
