Bedford High Schools In Massachusetts And New Hampshire Get Bomb Threats

BEDFORD (CBS) – Bomb threats were emailed to Bedford High School in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire Wednesday.

Police are looking into each incident to see if the threats are connected.

They were emailed to the high school principals in both towns Wednesday morning.

In Bedford, New Hampshire, classes were cancelled at the high school and middle school.

In Bedford, Massachusetts, students at the high school and middle school were dismissed early.

"This was absolutely out of an abundance of caution. When it comes to our students' safety, that's our number one priority," Jon Sills, Bedford, Mass. Schools Superintendent, told reporters.

No one was hurt.

All the schools were searched by police and nothing was found.

There have been no arrests.

Authorities told WBZ-TV the email threats were nearly identical.

Classes are expected to return to normal Thursday.
