Bedard: DeGuglielmo Offers High Praise For Nate Solder
BOSTON (CBS) - The MMQB's Greg Bedard stopped by the Felger & Massarotti booth Tuesday afternoon on Radio Row in Phoenix on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
Bedard was out and about for both teams' respective Media Days, and here's some nuggets he brought back with him:
- Patriots offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo understood why he was receiving criticism for the line's poor play early in the season
"[DeGuglielmo and I] had a great discussion. It surprised me, he said that other than Tyron Smith from Dallas he wouldn't take another left tackle than Nate Solder."
- DeGuglielmo didn't know about the Logan Mankins trade until after it happened
"He didn't find out until Bill told the team in the team meeting. After that they kind of scrambled."
