Beckett Set To Return To Red Sox' Rotation Thursday
BOSTON (CBS) - After skipping his turn in the rotation on Saturday, Josh Beckett looks ready to rejoin the Red Sox' starting five on Thursday.
Beckett threw a side session on Monday at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, and according to his manager, all systems are go when the Sox return home to open a four-game set against the Cleveland Indians.
"He said he was fine and ready to go [Thursday]," manager Bobby Valentine said Monday, according to CSNNE's Sean McAdam.

Beckett skipped his turn Saturday against the Orioles with discomfort in his lat muscle. Valentine said there won't be any restrictions come Thursday.
"It seems like it's a regular start unless I'm told differently," said Valentine.
