Beautiful Spring Weather Rolls On..
As we have been promising, this extended stretch of beautiful weather continues this weekend thanks to large ridge of high pressure sitting directly over us. Wall to wall sunshine this weekend with gradually moderating temperatures heading into next week. Highs will be cooler at the beaches this weekend with light onshore winds keeping temps in the 50's. Inland will feel much warmer away from the onshore wind with highs in the lwr-mid 70's in northern and western England, and mid-upper 60's nearing 70+ for the Worcester hills, to Metrowest, Merrimack Valley into SNH by Sunday. Dry conditions and low relative humidity is making for elevated brush fire concerns so please avoid any outside burning while we are experiencing this abnormally dry trend.
Temps will keep warming into the mid 70's in the north and west right through Monday & Tuesday, with temps near 70-75 across Metrowest at that time. The coast will hold mostly in the lwr-mid 60's. Meanwhile the upper level block will begin to break down and pull away later Tuesday. This will open the door for our slowly meandering cut off upper low to shift up the coast and bring more clouds with periodic showers and even a few downpours hopefully. This rain will be great for the lawns and gardens which desperately could use some water. These showers will also help to wash away some of the pollen which has been so bad lately. Temps will hold to near 60 with the clouds, showers and east winds. Temps will likely be on the rise again back to near 70 or more by Friday into Saturday, before another front moves through with showers Sunday and cooler air to follow.
Enjoy this picture perfect weather while it lasts...there are some changes and more unsettled weather ahead.
