BC's Justin Simmons Drafted By Broncos In Third Round
BOSTON (CBS) -- A former BC Eagle is soaring to the NFL.
Boston College safety Justin Simmons was drafted by the Denver Broncos on Friday night, selected in the third round with the 98th overall pick.
A two-year starter for the Eagles, Simmons is the 13th Boston College alum to be selected in the third round of the NFL Draft.
In his career at the heights, Simmons recorded 229 tackles and eight interceptions in 50 career games.
