Back to Summer...

High temperatures the last two days have been 69 and 72(so far) respectively...and to be honest today felt more like Autumn than Summer.  This all changes tomorrow, in fact we have seen some promising signs this evening as the low clouds that have been locked in for days have finally eroded and patches of blue were seen.  Drier air is gliding in from the north and west and the sky will completely clear out later tonight.  The will have a bit of a chill to it early tomorrow morning but by afternoon with the strong August sunshine highs will reach the 80-85 degree range with a light seabreeze near the coast...the pick of the week!

The high responsible for the fine weather on tap will slide offshore by Thursday morning and return flow will begin pumping in some very moist air during the day on Thursday.  With limited forcing, any thunderstorm would be isolated in the afternoon or evening.  But by Friday, with a front closing in from the NW, thunderstorms will become more likely.

There is a chance that a wave of low pressure develops on the front as it comes through...this could keep a few lingering showers around on Saturday...but the end of the weekend should end up rain-free and despite a few stray showers most of Saturday should end up the same too.
