Baby Nigerian Dwarf Goat Latest Addition At Franklin Park Zoo

BOSTON (CBS) -- Franklin Park Zoo has announced a new kid on the block.

His name is Chewbacca, a 4-pound Nigerian dwarf goat that was born at the zoo's Franklin Farm between 6:30 and 8:00 a.m, the zoo said in a statement.

"We are thrilled to share the news of this birth and we hope people will stop by during this school vacation week to see this adorable new addition," said John Linehan, Zoo New England President and CEO.

Shortly after birth the adorable baby goat was standing and was seen nursing with mother Leia. The zoo says Chewbacca has a clean bill of health.

Chewbacca's sibling Lucky also lives on the zoo's farm.
