Attleboro Troop: 'No Hard Feelings' Over Church's Disagreement With Boy Scout's Acceptance Of Gay Members
ATTLEBORO (CBS) --- A local boy scout pack says there are no hard feelings after the church they had been meeting at told them to find a new home because church leadership disagrees with Boy Scouts of America's decision to allow gay members.
Cub Scout pack #33 had been meeting at the Good News Bible Chapel for seven years.

"They just said the boy scouts and the church were not going in the same direction," pack leader Robert Shwab told WBZ NewsRadio 1030. "There were no hard feelings, they just decided not to renew the charter."
Good News Bible Chapel describes itself as a non-denominational community of Christians.
In July, they told the pack to find a new home by the end of the year.
Shwab said he didn't personally see any animosity toward his group over Boy Scouts of America's decision.
"All I know is that the boy scouts made the decision to allow it (gay members) and we're OK with it," Shwab said.
Shwab said since he started looking for a new place for his members to meet, the community has been very welcoming.
"My saying is always one door closes and several open. When we reached out to the community, people welcomed us," he said.
The cub scout pack will soon start meeting at Second Congregational Church in Attleboro.
"Second Congregational opened their arms up and we're really looking forward to it," Shwab said.
