At Least One Boston-Area Gas Station Sees Prices Top $4
BOSTON (CBS) - Gasoline prices continue to creep up, and on Friday, at least one in the Boston area had broken the $4.00 mark.
The Shell Gas Station on Columbus Ave in Boston was charging $4.09 (cash) or $4.21 (credit) for regular unleaded.

According to AAA Southern New England, at the beginning of the week, a gallon of self-serve, regular unleaded was averaging $3.67 per gallon.
