Assault On Tufts Student Similar To Somerville Attacks
MEDFORD (CBS) - A Tufts University student was sexually assaulted early Saturday morning in the same area where three other women have been attacked recently.
According to police, the woman was walking on College Ave. at the corner of Stanley Ave. around 1:15 a.m., when a man attacked her from behind.
The woman was knocked to the ground but managed to fight off the suspect. She was not hurt.

Medford, Tufts, Somerville, Transit K-9 and Massachusetts State Police K-9 were all notified and are investigating the attack.
This assault took place less than two miles from a similar incident in Somerville Thursday night.
The suspect descriptions in each case are very similar and police are saying that the incidents may be related.

The suspect is being described as: Hispanic Male, 5'5" to 5' 7" tall, thin build, late teens, dark short hair, dark eyes, wearing a dark hoodie.
The description is also similar to ones given in two previous attacks in Somerville.
