Arrington On Toucher & Rich: Game In London 'A Business Trip'
BOSTON (CBS) - Following their overtime win over the Jets on Sunday, the New England Patriots are now getting ready for their trip to London to take on the St. Louis Rams.
"You just have to treat it like a business trip -- it is a business trip," corner Kyle Arrington told 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich on Tuesday. "It's definitely a great experience, but we have one focus and one goal on mind and that's to win a football game."
The Patriots will practice on Tuesday and Wednesday before heading across the pond on Thursday. Meanwhile, the Rams are already overseas.
It's a bit of a wacky schedule for the Patriots, but the team won't let it bother them.
"Only if you let it. We're professionals and we treat it as such," said Arrington. "Last week, being in Seattle and with all that travel and what not, I guess we're getting into a new habit."
Moving on from football, Toucher & Rich decided to have a little fun with the Patriots corner. Sometimes, things get a little heated on the sidelines. So who would win a cage match between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick?
"I don't know. We've seen Belichick spending a lot of time in the weight room as of late. It would be a good one, that's all I can say," Arrington said.
What about a last-man-standing battle royale between all the Patriots? Who would be the last man standing?
"(Brandon) Spikes does have a hard head. If you hit him in the head, I don't think it would affect him," joked Arrington. "It would be safe to put some money on Spikes."
