Arredondo Family Foundation – Helping Military Families

They say after every storm, comes a rainbow! And this is exactly what happened after the Boston Marathon bombings - the city of Boston and our people came together, creating many different efforts that try to heal the wounds and give hope to the survivors and families of the victims. This year's marathon is right around the corner and because WBZ is your official marathon station, on this edition of Centro, we want tell you about some runners that will be part of this year's race! They'll be running in support of the Arredondo Family Foundation, a brand new effort created by Boston Marathon Hero Carlos Arredondo and his wife Melida Arredondo, which supports military families who experience suicide and offer scholarships for military siblings. WBZ's Yadires Nova-Salcedo talks with Carlos Arredondo, AFF board member/marathon runner Brian Malone and marathon runner Rachael Cooper. Tune in!
