Arlington Father, Son Bowl Perfect Games On Same Night
CAMBRIDGE (CBS) -- It began as just another night at their weekly bowling league, but it turned out to be an unforgettable evening for a father and son from Arlington.
Michael Dalayo bowled the first perfect game of his life at Lanes & Games in Cambridge, and two games later, his dad bowled a perfect 300 as well.
"My father and I bowl on our team together every Thursday night," Dalayo said. "To be able to have my very own first 300 game and then be there for my dad when he does it on the same night together, it's one of the most special nights I've had in a long time."
Dalayo said the atmosphere was very easygoing – the group had enjoyed a few "adult beverages" and was more concerned with having a good time than focusing on their bowling scores.
"I started bowling and felt comfortable and relaxed," Dalayo said.
So relaxed that he threw nothing but strikes and ended up with this first 300 game.
"I immediately came back and gave my dad a hug and it was one of the most special things to have him be there and share it with me," Dalayo said.
