Argument Leads To Man's Death On I-495 In Milford, Police Say
MILFORD (CBS) – An argument in a car led to a man's death on Interstate 495 in Milford early Wednesday morning, police said.
Five people were riding in a vehicle on 495 South just after midnight when the driver pulled over in the left lane near exit 20.
State Police said there was an argument between a 28-year-old man who was a passenger and a 25-year-old woman who was driving.
Benjamin MacAskill, of Bristol, Connecticut, got out of the car and was hit by a tractor trailer. The truck driver, a 41-year-old from Maine, stopped.
MacAskill was rushed to Milford Hospital and then flown to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester where he died.
Car driver Kimberly Prescott, of Bristol, Connecticut, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence.
The truck driver was not charged.
No other information is available at this point in the investigation.
