Skip Ronan, owner of Abell One Hour Heating and Air, says problems occur when people turn on the AC for the first time without getting it serviced. "Sometimes you have units that are subject to tree debris. Rodents can get in there and chew up the wires. Sometimes you can get earwigs and ants. Drains plug up, overflow, ceilings get wet."
Only days ago, Jay Peak, VT got a fresh coat of snow, and the summit of Mount Washington, New Hampshire was encased in ice. New England is expected to soar into a new kind of extreme over the next four days with temperatures of 90 degrees and above.
